But to talk about Oporto is also to talk about the precious nectar ... this wine that is cultivated in the region of the Alto Douro and that was once brought downstream in boats named “rabelos”, similar to those that carry tourists today, was stored in the cellars.

And it is there, in the cellars that this wine will "mature" ... that is where it will become one of the most appreciated sweet wines in the world.
